Canonical setting not working

    Hi there, it seems that the Canonical URL setting may not be working on a no-index page.

    I included two screenshots below in the sensitive data area:
    1. shows the backend of the canonical url added.
    2. shows the page source that couldn’t find the canonical tag.

    Please advise what to do.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    This is the expected behavior, the canonical URL is only added to pages set to index.. The function of the canonical URL is to show search engines the original page especially when there are a number of pages with duplicate content. Since you have set your pages to noindex, they won’t be indexed by Search Engines and there is no need for the canonical URL.
