Canonical pagination

    There is an issue with how our engagement rings pagination page is being canonical due to the way our developer coded the pagination on this section (in sensitive data). On our blog/page/2 it is fine.

    I want to make this page self canonical not canonical back to /engagement-rings. Another developer fixed this for another client by “Hook within the code”. How can we do this simply, please?

    This pagination section was able to pick up %page% to allow for unique meta titles and descriptions.

    No pagination should canonical back to the top category. This is not the right way of using canonical.
