canonical, noindex and image alt attribute

    Hi,

    I’m back with some questions, after running the seo analysis I have 3 intrigating warnings.

    1- Image alt attribute is missing (1) and the src is something that I don’t recognize:

    2-“No canonical link tag found on your page.” This is the message presented, I’ve inspected the page and it’s true the canonical is not present in any page of the site. I followed all the steps you give in the knowledge base, inside every post and page, under advanced, the grey url presented in the box was rewriten with the same url and save it. And this didn’t solve the issue…

    3- “Your page contains noindex meta or header.” This message is present at the SEO analysis, so I’ve inspected a few pages where the rank math robots meta shows index checked and the other boxes are empty, and this is what I found under the page html: name=”robots” content=”nofollow, noindex”><meta

    Could you please help me?

    1. The image is a call button on the footer section of the website. https://i.rankmath.com/2l50xU

    Since the image is not inside the WP Editor area, you can either ignore the error or manually add the ALT text to the image to fix the issue.

    2, 3. I checked your website’s source and I noticed that a No Index tag is applied. Upon further investigating, I found that you’ve checked the “Discourage search engines from crawling this site” option from your WordPress admin area > Settings > Reading. Please see the screenshot available in the sensitive data section of this ticket.

    I went ahead and unchecked the option and the canonical tag is now added and the No Index tag is removed from your website’s source. https://i.rankmath.com/jlEUCE
