Canonical disappears when plugin is activated

Hello I’m facing an issues with rank math.

The tag ‘link rel=canonical’ disappears when the plugin is activated and come back when it’s not.

I’have updated the plugin recently. So I’have tried with an older version but it doesn’t change anything.

After a few test importing and exporting different db backup, I’m pretty sure it comes from the db.
I think it arrives after I ask rank math to remove product and product_category base from woocommerce url in the “general settings” window.

    Thanks

    -H

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

This is quite unexpected. Would you mind editing the sensitive data section and adding a link to one of the affected pages?
Additionally, please perform the diagnostic steps described on the following resource page to check for possible plugin conflicts: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Hello there and thanks for your answer,

I agree to give you access to the dev but to do so I have to share with you sensitive data as htpwd.

    How can we proceed.

    THanks in advance.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

Please note that the option to remove product and product_category base from woocommerce url does not modify URLs on the database and thus it is less likely that this is a result of this change.
I have shared my email address on the sensitive data section so that you can send me htpasswd.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello mickael

    Email sent,

Please let me know if you need a temporary wordpress account and with which role.

The pluggin is currently activated and the canonical is missing in all pages I’ve visited included Home Page

    Thanks

    Hi Hugz,

    Thanks for the follow up.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please create a new support ticket and edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.
