Cannot insert over 70 images

    I just deactivated Rank Math plugin then tried to insert 130 images into a post and they all loaded, then I activated Rank Math again and started a new post and tried to insert 130 images and it won’t insert them?
    I suppose a temp workaround is to deactivate rank math then insert the images into the post then reactivate rank math.

  • Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    This is unexpected and could suggest that you may be hitting a limit on some server resources. Please get in touch with your host and check if there are any errors reported on the server logs.

    Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    I contacted siteground my hosting company and this is what they said but I have never had this problem before, as soon as I deactivate rank math it allows me to insert 130 images.
    “If the combined size of this import is greater than 128 MB it will not go through, as that is the a server defined PHP variable limit:

    Code:
    bn201868@uk42 [~]# php -i | grep post_max_size
    post_max_size => 128M => 128M
    bn201868@uk42 [~]# php -i | grep upload_max_filesize
    upload_max_filesize => 128M => 128M
    bn201868@uk42 [~]#

    This limit cannot be increased or altered and is a constant across all our shared hosting server environment.”
    All the 130 images are about 200kb in size, about 17mb in total so I’m not going over the 128mb limit on wordpress or my hosting.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the response.

    This could be stemming from a different server limitation such as the value of the max_input_vars that controls the number of variables that can be used on a single page. The best way to help in isolating the cause would be to check from the server logs.
    Please share this info so that we can be able to investigate further.

    I am looking forward to helping you.

    Hi,

    I just heard from our dev. team.

    Please ask your web hosting company to increase post_size and post_var_size as well to get rid of the issue.

    Hope that helps and do let us know if you need assistance with this.

    this is from my hosting company and to tell you the truth in over 15 years of using a wordpress site I have never had this problem until I installed rank math.
    Hello Bruce,

    If I understand correctly you want us to increase the value for post_max_size.

    If so I would like to clarify that the post_max_size is set to 120 and we could not change that configuration for your account as it is currently hosted on a shared server and that change would compromise the stability of the entire hosting environment. The settings are set to ensure the best performance of the server and the fair usage of the resources by all users hosted on the same server.

    If you need to increase the max_execution_time you should consider upgrading your account to a Cloud hosting solution where we could modify the settings as per your needs.

    However I checked your website and I could not spot any issues or errors.

    Should you need any further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the response.

    I understand the limitation on your hosting and this is quite unfortunate. I am afraid that there is not much that we can do to help in this from our end. Is it an option to make use of the workaround that you specified on your first ticket?

    Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
