Cannot Edit Snippets

  • Hi. I’m following your ‘Score 100 in tests’ guide, but there does not seem to be any option to edit snippets when I open the snippet editor? I am unable to alter or delete the description inside the box in any way.

    I have installed and activated the ‘Health Check’ plugin, and reactivated RankMath.
    The Health Check plugin showed no conflicts, but I put it into troubleshooting mode anyway. I still cannot edit snippets? When I go into Preview Snippet Editor on a post, there are 3 fields; title, permalink, description. I can edit permalink, but not the other two? How do I attach a screenshot to this message? There doesn’t seem to be the functionality to do so?

    I have a similar issue I can’t edit a snippet in our about page but I can in the product page. could it me a conflict of having two pages open in separate tabs?
