Breadcrumbs display hierarchy page

I would like to enable breadcrumbs to do the following:

    Appear on individual jobs pages.

Display the parent page that comes before each individual job page in breadcrumb.

In above example, the Seattle job belongs to the parent page “seattle gig economy jobs”.

“Seattle gig economy jobs” shows all jobs in category “Seattle jobs”.

So I could accomplish something similar by enabling categories in breadcrumbs and establishing the correct parent category for all individual jobs posts, but I do not want to take people back to an archive of “Seattle Jobs”. I’d like to bring them to the specific parent page of “Seattle gig economy jobs” which is much more user friendly.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

Can I redirect a category archive to a specific page? Maybe there is an even easier solution?

    Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

You have to manually place the breadcrumbs inside the theme’s file where you want it to appear.

Please talk to your theme provider and ask them where exactly the code for breadcrumbs needs to be placed.

You can use this filter to change the output of the breadcrumbs code as well:

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
