    Hello,

I currently have bunch of old URLs in GSC Coverage Excluded section and some of them have been around for a couple of years. Although the number of them decreased some I can never successfully get rid of all old ones. I already set up 410 for all individual one under RankMath/Redirections but it doesn’t seem to be working. Instead of that should I set them up in .htaccess file? If so, can you please advise how?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The redirections should be able to work. Could you please share a few copies of the affected links on the sensitive data section so that we can check this further?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

To remove a page from Google, you will need to remove the page link from the Google cache by following these steps:

1). Login to the search console and head over to the remove outdated content page.
2). Enter the URL (web address) of the page that has the deleted content you want to remove.
    3). Select Request removal.
If you see the message “We think the image or web page you’re trying to remove hasn’t been removed by the site owner,” follow the onscreen steps to fix this.
4). If you see the message “This content is no longer live on the website,” select Request Removal.

I hope this info helps. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply but it is frustrating process and I need to make it clear under Removals/OUTDATED CONTENT.

2). Enter the URL (web address) of the page that has the deleted content you want to remove.
-How and where can I enter URL? If I check the “URL” box under the triangle drop down menu then I can enter URL but I don’t see anywhere to 3). Select Request removal.

And I don’t see “We think the image or web page you’re trying to remove hasn’t been removed by the site owner,” and “This content is no longer live on the website,”.

NVM, I was at the wrong place and found the page you are referring to. I added URLs and will let you know how it goes.
