    Hello there.

    I have encountered a problem.

I have my website since september 2023 and had designed and deployed several websites which are linking to my website. The problem that occurs now is that if i enter google search console for my website, there are no backlinks shown… Also on other website profiler services there are no backlinks.

I have checked that the link has no no-follow link on it and is linked correctly.
The links are in the footer of the websites.

  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with your backlinks not showing up on Google Search Console and other website profiler services.

When it comes to backlinks not being detected by Google Search Console, it’s essential to understand that Google may discover your URL through means other than sitemaps, such as backlinks. This can lead to the “No referring sitemaps detected” message in Google Search Console.

To ensure that Google has indexed your URL, you can follow these steps:

    1. Type in site: followed by the post or page URL into your address bar and press Enter on your keyboard. For example:
      site:https://example.com/hiking-tips-for-beginners/
    2. If the content displays in search results, it means it has already been crawled and indexed by Google.

If the content does not display in search results, you can return to Google Search Console and click on REQUEST INDEXING to prompt Google to crawl and index your URL.

    Click Request Indexing

If you continue to face issues with backlinks not showing up or have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to our dedicated support team here. We’re available 24/7, 365 days a year to assist you.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please try to follow the steps below to address the issue.

    1. Make sure that you have verified your website on Google Search Console, if not, follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/

    2. Please make sure that you are not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).

    3. Please remove RankMath’s app from your Google apps permissions: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

    4. Once done, reconnect the Google account again from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and configure the Search Console and Analytics settings again.

Kindly check all necessary checkboxes to allow Rank Math to access some of the Google Services.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
