    Rank Math free

    Hi,
hi, I have a problem. In the Rank Math settings in the Schema Type section, I put “Article”, but Google warns me of the errors. Recognizes the scheme as “Product” and asks for other fields (I attach the screen). How could this be solved?
Because for me it is necessary that Google begins to show in the search the rating with the stars.

    Thank you

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

The product schema seem to come from another plugin or your theme.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Please let us know if you find the culprit.

Article posts don’t support rating schema. The following schema types support ratings and you can select one of them if they match what the topic of the article that you are writing:
    – Book
    – Course
    – Event
    – Product
    – Recipe
    – Software Application

Please note that there is not standalone star rating Schema available in any SEO plugin.

The old review Schema is not supported by Google:

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Yes sure!
The other plugin that allows you to leave a review and rating from 1 to 5 stars, is WpDiscuz and has AggregateRating set as a product. Obviously I can’t turn it off, because I can’t collect reviews and stars.
What do you recommend in this case? Set In the Rank Math settings in the Schema Type section to “None”?

    Thank you

    Hello,

Setting it to none won’t fix your issue since the issue is related to the Schema the other plugin is using.

The other plugin should add more data to the Product schema or it will be invalid, whatever you do in Rank Math.

You should check if the plugin lets you add that data or you could use the review schemas Rank Math has (disabling the other plugin) since in Rank Math you will be able to fulfill all the schema data.

    Looking forward to help you.
