Author Slug Conflicts

    Hi, I edited the author slugs using the plugin https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/edit-author-slug/, it was working fine, but it seems to be conflicting with the Rank Math Titles & Meta settings for authors. Can I just disable the Rank Math slug modifications, so this plugin will take over here or somehow prioritise the other plugin over Rank Math for this purpose?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    You can fix this by heading over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Authors and delete the author base from the field as shown below and then hit save. This will then allow the Edit-author-slug plugin to take over the rewriting of author slugs.

    Please note that this field is designed to populate with the default value “author” and do not worry if the text appears on this page after deletion.
