Hi, In the title & meta tag, there is a different option. In that, I got the below error:

“To configure attachment-related meta tags disable attachment redirection to parent.”

I have set all settings by seeing the rank math article. But in the article of rank math, there is no error in this attachments field there. Then why I am getting this error?

Please help me solve this issue as soon as possible.

Yes, I got the solution already but thanks for your reply.

I have a few other questions:

    1. I have installed SG optimizer, I got good results. But my website mobile errors are not totally gone. And I got a web vital problem in google search console. The mobile speed is 4 seconds. How to increase mobile speed?

    2. Is redirecting 26 irrelevant posts to my homepage a good decision. Will it good or bad for SEO?

    3. When I open 404 monitors in the rank math plugin. It shows lots of pages(some databases and other pages which I cant understand) while google search console is showing only 3 4 404 errors. What should I do? On which platform should I trust?

    4. I recently switch on rank math from Yoast SEO. Will I need to resubmit my sitemap on google search console after doing setting on rank math?

    Hello,

Thank you for the follow up.

    1. You can use tools such as https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ to get insights on your page speed and what might be making the page slow.

    2. Are the post still existing on your site? Are the post indexed yet? If the post are still on your site you can set them to noindex. If they are already indexed by Google and/or no longer exist on your site, you can redirect them to pass the juice to your homepage.

    3. The GSC will only show you 404 errors on URLs that are indexed or being crawled. The 404 monitor by Rank math will show you all 404s on your site, some by bots, others by users trying to access non existent or blocked URLs on your site. Here’s how to fix the 404s with Rank Math. https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-404-errors/

    4. Do you have any caching plugin? If so please exclude your sitemaps from being cached. Once done you can check the following:
—Is the sitemap working fine in your browser? You can check that by going domain(.)com/sitemap_index.xml

—If the sitemap is working fine, you can try validating it on this link: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html

If the validation works, please check your GSC for any issues and if there are none, you don’t have to resubmit.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your help. I am really happy to see such a detailed explanation of each point.

Please consider these below queries also, it would be a great help.

    1. My website’s main version is https://www.prideinwear.com I, e www. Then why robot.txt file is indexed in my non-www version(https://prideinwear) and also 4 excluded pages in google Websearch console.

If my website’s main version is https://www.prideinwear.com, then the other three versions should have 0 pages, 0 posts(nothing should be indexed in the other three versions).
Robot.txt last crawled date is 9 Aug. I checked and tested a few plugins(some cache, some other)recently after 25 Aug. I was tested, activated, and deactivated plugins.

I think this deactivation and activation of plugins is not a problem. Because I did this after 25 Aug, and the robot.txt crawling date is 9 Aug.

Then What is the problem why google indexed my robot.txt file in a non-www version(https://prideinwear). Is there a problem? If yes what should I do to resolve this problem?

    2. I was running a website for 2 years, my website always redirects on the same version https://www.prideinwear.com. But suddenly I got the WWW Canonicalization issue. But when I deactivated wp fastest cache code from htaccess(my hosting provider did this), then this WWW Canonicalization issue solved yesterday. Now there is no cache plugin on my website now. Can you suggest some good cache plugin so that I could install that on my website? I have also activated Cloudflare CDN on my website. So please suggest me a good cache plugin.

    Hello,

About question 1, my advice would be to create a redirection to the right version (the one with www) since Google could have issues since it will use the domain URL when applying the rules in the robots.txt (so if the robots.txt is using a non-www version, it will apply the rules for non-www URLs).

Since your site pages are already redirecting from non-www to www, those rules would be applied to the right URLs but just in case, you should redirect the robots.txt URL to the right one.

About question 2, it might be due to the cache plugin modifying the .htaccess rules. There are a lot of good cache plugins out there, we have seen users really happy with Swift Performance (free and paid, two versions) and WP Rocket (only paid version) plugins.

    Looking forward to help you.

    Thanks For reply.

    Queries related to sitemap.

1.My website’s main version is https://www.prideinwear.com and in this main version, sitemap submitted date is 7 sep 2020 and last read 11 sep 2020. This means, after switching from yoast to rankmath, rankmath took sitemap and freshly submitted at 7 sep 2020.

And, inside sitemap_index.xml, there are two files, page-sitemap.xml and post-sitemap.xml. Inside post-sitemap.xml, there is 1 error:

    /page-sitemap.xml 5 Sep 2020 Success 12
    /post-sitemap.xml 1 Sep 2020 1 error 49

Error is: (Sitemap could not be read
    General HTTP error
    1 instance
We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure that your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided, and then resubmit.

    Examples
    HTTP Error:
    404)
How can I solve this error?

2.In http://www.prideinwear.com (this is not the main version of my website), sitemap submitted at 23 jul 2018(which means this sitemap took by yoast, this is the time when I started my website and submitted sitemap). And last read at 7 and 6 sep 2020 in this version.

    /sitemap_index.xml Sitemap index 23 Jul 2018 7 Sep 2020 Success 61
    /page-sitemap.xml Sitemap 23 Jul 2018 6 Sep 2020 Success 12

So mainly first problem is my website has two sitemaps at different versions(one at http://www.prideinwear.com , took by yoast) and second is (in main version https://www.prideinwear.com , took by rankmath)

Is this right thing that there are two sitemaps at my website at different versions? If not what is the solution?

And second problem is, in the main version https://www.prideinwear.com, there is 1 sitemap error, how can I solve it?

    Hello,

Thank you for the follow up.

Since the main version of your site is https://www.prideinwear.com/, this is the only version you need to have verified on your GSC. you should remove the other versions and leave them to be handled through redirection to redirect to your main site.

I tested the sitemap for your main site and it seems to work fine. Assuming you have already excluded all your sitemap URLs from being cached, if not please do so and clear your cache, please head to your GSC and remove any submitted sitemap then resubmit only the main sitemap index file(sitemap_index.xml). This should fix the issue with Yoast & Rank math sitemap. If it doesn’t please let us know.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.

    Hi Michael Davis,

I know how to redirect posts. post redirection could be possible through rank math redirection or any redirection plugin.

But I really don’t know how to redirect sitemap. and there two versions of the sitemap in another version of my website(http://www.prideinwear.com ). Which one should I redirect and how to redirect(/sitemap_index.xml Sitemap index 23 Jul 2018 7 Sep 2020 Success 61
    /page-sitemap.xml Sitemap 23 Jul 2018 6 Sep 2020 Success 12)?

Please give me the proper instructions for this. This seems tricky so I don’t want to be touch any technical part without any proper directions.

And, Alberto and Michael Davis. Please give the steps also how I redirect my robots.txt file in my main version? And how can I check the robots.txt file presents on my main website version?

I have read somewhere on the internet sitemap redirection is not. Because google stop crawling and indexing your URLs because of any redirection. Is this true?

    Hello,

Are you wanting to redirect the HTTP version to the https version?

This type of redirect cannot be done with Rank Math. I am afraid you will have to contact your web host about this type redirect.
