Yes, for forum support you need to have the bbPress plugin and its respective module activated. This will add SEO options to the forums within your site.
When it comes to the schema, we already have the QA schema integrated into the bbPress forum pages as well However it only works on bbPress forums posts (like this one).
We do not offer it as a standalone Schema because Q&A Schema is not ideal for blog posts or static pages. Please check our guide on this here: https://rankmath.com/kb/qapage-schema/

Am afraid as of now we only support QA on the bbPress plugin and we have not added an integration on other themes like the one you are using.
You may have to consult your theme developer if your theme here supports the bbPress plugin so you can use this automatically added schema.
