Article VS Review

    Hello,

    Firstly, I apologise if this is the wrong place to ask. However, after some Google searching, I am still a bit confused.

    I understand the difference between article and review rich snippets. However, I am unsure about my situation.

    I have a travel blog and I have a lot of articles which are essentially reviews of certain places. An example is: https://www.seoulinspired.com/seoulism-cafe/.

    I have always just used ‘article’ as my rich snippet, but I was curious if changing a few articles (such as the above) to a review would give me more eyes in Google. Reviews tend to stand out more!

    But I am worried that it will negatively affect my SEO. Does the article above fit what a review should be? And is there any negative to having review selected instead of article?

    I am planning to leave it as a review for a few weeks and see if anything changes. However, I would appreciate any help! Thank you!

    Schema data is not a ranking factor and will not directly affect your SEO. The schema markup only affects your SEO by helping the search engines to understand the content on your posts and hence helping to reach your target audience.
    I believe that review schema would be suitable for the posts on the link shared on your post.
