Archives redirecting to home page

    The archives on both of my sites are redirecting to my homepage. I have tried flushing permalinks and looked through the settings but nothing is fixing the problem.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    Please deactivate all of your other plugins and test again.
    Does this issue happen only when Rank Math is activated or all the time?

    Can you send us a link to one of your archive pages?

    Leave us your WP admin access in sensitive data field.

    Yes, it’s the Rank Math plugin. I figure it must be one of the settings, but I don’t know which one.

    I found the setting that was causing the trouble. It seems I misunderstood the setting under Misc for “Date Archives.” The little blurb underneath confused me: “Redirect date archives to homepage.” I thought if I enabled it, my date archives would redirect, so I disabled it. I suggest rewording it. 🙂

    (I’ve noticed the same issue with the Author Archives: The instructions say to toggle the switch to “enabled” for single-author blogs to turn off the author archives, but when you do that, you get the setup instructions for the author archives. If you click “disabled,” then these are turned off.)
