I just tried to start the SEO Analysis.
I runs to 100%, then it waits a short time.
Then I get the “API Error: Invalid server response”
I found a similar ticket, but there was no solution it seems.
I would be happy about any help.

Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
Please ensure that your plugin is connected to your account at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard > Help.
Then, also ensure your web host isn’t blacklisting our IP:
Rank Math’s IP: 184.108.40.206
Finally, please head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Tools > Clear SEO Analysis data.
Hit the button once.
That should fix the issue.
Let me know if it doesn’t.
I just doublechecked the account cnnection.
I think, thats lookig good so far:
I cleared the Analysis data as described above and started the Site wide analysis again.
Unfortunately the same issue.
Currently I asked the support team to check for the IP … but as my website is hosted at wealthy affiliate and others are using the plugin probably too, I think something else is going wrong.
Any other Ideas?

I have the same issue, and I have the same hosting at Wealthy Affiliate.
I asked the support team to check for the IP but the response was “Please note that your website is hosted on the beta server, and there is no blockage/restriction for an outgoing API connection.”
We have taken all the steps you have indicated but nothing has changed.
Interesting as if I rolled back version to 1.0.38., it’s worked!
What the next step?
I just got an answer of the support team.
Our server is not blocking any outgoing requests.
On analysis of this plugin’s API request we can see the following request is being made:
This results in the following response from rankmath.com:
HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request
To us, it looks like the plugin should replace ak=xxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxx with a valid key?
You can reach out to this plugin’s support for further information on that.
Could you look further into this issue?
what is that ak number? and what should it be? And how to replace it?
Can you please send us your website’s IP so we can also whitelist it from our end? If there were too many requests in a short span of time – our firewall might have added you to the block list.
Do share the IP so we can manually whitelist you.

I have the same issue and I am at wealthy affiliate as well.
I am blind as to any traffic I am getting and much of this tech. stuff goes right over my head. please let me know if you find out what is the cause.

We are in the process of whitelisting your IP and we will be in touch as soon as its done.
For the rest of the folks on the thread, please open a new ticket and share your outgoing IP privately via the sensitive data section so that we can do the same?

I have taken a closer look at this issue and it looks like it’s not related to our firewall. When our analysis server is trying to access your homepage at https://mywhiskeynews.com then we’re getting the following error message:
cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10004 milliseconds with 33450 out of 48388 bytes received
The same happens even if we increase the timeout limit to 30 or even to 60 seconds. This means that the issue is most probably on your side. Please contact your hosting provider about ingoing requests and make sure that requests from our server at
18.104.22.168with the user-agent
RankMathChecker/2.0.0; https://rankmath.comis not getting blocked by your server or firewall.
