API Error: HTTP 400 error.

    My has a wordpress site until some hours ago “under constrution”. Now it is online and I would like to work the SEO with Rank Math, but I can not, because appears the ticket title above mentioneted.

    Can you help me, please?

    Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    You should ensure your web server is not blocking access to our API.

    To do so please make sure to whitelist the IP 134.90.148.98 and the user-agent RankMathChecker/2.0.0; https://rankmath.com.

    If you are not sure, please ask your web hosting provider to do it for you.

    Once done please clear your site cache then hed over to Rank math > Status & Tools > Database tools and flush analysis data. You can then run the SEO Analysis once again.

    I do not think this is the case, because I have more sites using Rank Math in the same web server.

    But your answer iluminated my mind, and I compared the Rank Math in two the site I found the problem and another there is perfect, and I found that in the first one in tne “Status&Tools” is missing Version Control/Database Tools/System Status/ Import&Export.

    So whatdo you advise me to do? Reinstale the Rank Math?

    You will need to check as to why your site is not showing a 200 OK Status. You can have your web-host look into this as this is not related to Rank math even though it affects Rank math functionality.

    As for the missing tabs, some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. You can switch to the Advanced Mode from the top-right corner at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard

    Thank you so much for your clear instructions, forever I still have a message error from Rank Math, and now is: API Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 30001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Could you please change the following line that can be found in class-seo-analyzer.php on line 380 on this path: ..\wp-content\plugins\seo-by-rank-math\includes\modules\seo-analysis from:

    $request = wp_remote_get( $api_url, [ 'timeout' => 30 ] );

    to
    $request = wp_remote_get( $api_url, [ 'timeout' => 60 ] );

    Please always add any sensitive data, especially your site logins, in the designated sensitive section, else anyone with a access to this thread can have access to your site

    I checked your site and made the necessary changes and now everything should run perfectly. I deactivated the plugin temporarily while making the changes so you will have to reconnect your site again to perform SEO Analysis.
