API Error

  • I am having issues running the SEO analysis on wordpress via Wealthy affiliate.

    Keep getting this error.

    I have reached out to my site host team and this was their response;

    Hi Vincent,

We just checked the logs on the server, but we did not see any issue from the server-side, so there may be some internal issue with the plugin, so we suggest you contact the plugin provider and ask them to have a look into this as that will certainly help.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

It appears your web server is blocking access to our API.

Please make sure to whitelist the IP and the user-agent RankMathChecker/2.0.0; https://rankmath.com.

If you are not sure, please ask your web hosting provider to do it for you.

Once done, you can run the SEO Analysis once again.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Please note that we have not blocked anything on the server regarding this plugin.

They are not blocking anything. Could it be the version of the plugin? shouldn’t it work with the updates?

I don’t is something related to the plugin but maybe if your servers are not blocking ours, maybe ours are blocking yours. Could you add in the Sensitive Data section your domain (or if you are using Cloudflare, your host IP) so we can check it?

    Looking forward to help you.

    I dont understand your guidance.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you. Thank you.

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello Vincent,

You have not shared the website URL.

Could you please share the URL where we can login?

    Thank you.
