  • Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issues you are facing with the Analytics data in Rank Math. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

To address the discrepancies in the Analytics data you mentioned, it’s essential to ensure that the data is being fetched accurately from Google Search Console and Google Analytics. If you are seeing incorrect rankings for specific keywords, it’s recommended to verify the data directly in Google Search Console to confirm the actual rankings.

Regarding adding keywords to the Rank Tracker and updating it, you can follow these steps:

    1. Adding Keywords to Rank Tracker:

      • In your WordPress admin area, navigate to Rank Math > Rank Tracker.
      • Click on the Add New Keyword button.
      • Enter the keyword you want to track and select the search engine (e.g., Google).
      • Click Add Keyword to start tracking it.
    2. Updating Rank Tracker:

      • To update the Rank Tracker data, ensure that your Google Search Console and Google Analytics accounts are connected correctly.
      • You can also manually refresh the data by clicking on the Refresh Data button within the Rank Tracker section.

If you encounter any issues while adding keywords or updating the Rank Tracker, please ensure that your Rank Math account is connected correctly. You can refer to our guide on Content AI Credits Mismatching for detailed instructions on managing your account settings.

If you need further assistance or have additional questions, please feel free to let us know. We are here to help you with any concerns you may have.

Looking forward to resolving your queries and assisting you further.

so what you are saying to me is, there is no point in me renewing my subscription as your analystics does not work, and i may as well just check my console. Yoast plugin work with analsytics so why advertise yours saying it works and it does not. it is providing me with false information

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for the trouble this issue must have caused you.

The position data comes directly from Google Search Console. We calculate an average of your positions based on the data available over the time frame you have selected. The position you see is not the current one you see right now but rather an average over the past month (if you choose 30 days).

You can refresh that data and see if the values from the API have changed in the meantime by triggering the scheduled action rank_math/data_fetch or simply by fetching fresh data from Google. This is a simple process that you can do by following the steps below:

Make sure you have the latest version of the Rank Math plugin installed on your site. You can check the latest version here: https://rankmath.com/changelog/

    1. Head over to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Tools & Status > Database Tools and click the Rebuild Index button. This is the first process before you will update the data manually unlike what was suggested by the bot.

    2. After that, head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics tab, click the Delete Data button and then click the Update Data Manually

    3. This will start the new data fetch from Google. You can reload the page to see the notice related to the import process.

    4. Once the process is complete. Please re-check the Analytics page and all the data should be showing up correctly.

Following the above steps should fix the issue.

You can refer to this guide for reference: https://rankmath.com/kb/zero-search-traffic-error/

However, if it does not, please check if there is a pending Scheduled Action by heading over to WordPress dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending or you can try visiting the following URL:

    https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=action-scheduler&status=pending

Then Run the rank_math/analytics/data_fetch scheduled action and wait for the data fetch to complete.

This is how it should look like:

Once done, please allow Rank Math a while to fetch data from Google and you should be able to see the updated data.

You might see other actions that are scheduled to RUN as well, it is quite normal and you don’t have to worry.

Let us know how that goes.

    Thank you.

I’m reaching out regarding an issue I’ve encountered with the Rank Math plugin on my WordPress website. It seems that the integration with Google Analytics is not functioning properly, and I’m unsure of how to resolve it.

I’ve followed the setup instructions carefully, but despite my efforts, I do not see any data from Google Analytics reflected in my Rank Math dashboard.

Could you please guide how to troubleshoot and resolve this issue? I rely on Rank Math and Google Analytics for important insights into my website’s performance, so getting this sorted out quickly is crucial.

Thank you for your assistance. Website

    Hello @sassastatuscheck3,

Please try to follow the steps below to create a troubleshooting log so that we can check the issue further for you.

    1. At first add the following filter to your website:

    add_filter( 'rank_math/analytics/log_response', '__return_true' );

Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

    2. After adding the filter, please run the pending Scheduled Action from your WordPress Dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending  or you can try visiting the following URL:

    https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=action-scheduler&status=pending

This is how it should look like:

When some actions have completed running, please check the Analytics log under wp-content/uploads/rank-math and share that with us. You can upload the log file using this tool.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
