Analytics Not Showing Anymore

I have the free version of RankMath. Up until today or yesterday, my analytics were showing. Now I have all 0s.

I did something the other day (maybe it was today?) – I know I added some code somewhere – either at namecheap or namehero. I don’t know for sure, but I think it had something to do with Google Search Console or Google Analytics. (My memory is… well, you get the point. I don’t have much of a memory!)

At any rate, are you able to tell what I messed up? Because it’s a mystery to me, and my brain is already fried…

    I’d appreciate it!

    Marnie

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Head over to WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> Tools & Status and click the ‘Rebuild Index’ button https://i.rankmath.com/kecLYK
    2. Head over to WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> General Settings >> Analytics tab, and click the ‘Delete Data’ button and then click the ‘Update Data Manually’ https://i.rankmath.com/fvcsbF
    3. It will start the new data fetch from Google. You can reload the page to see the notice related to the import process.
    4. Once the process is complete. Please recheck the Analytics page.

We really look forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

I did this step by step, and it’s still showing all 0s.

I think I messed it up when I was messing around with DNS records or something. I added a line of code to one, but I seriously cannot remember what it is I did. Pretty sure it had something to do with G4 analytics. Maybe. I’m sorry I can’t remember. 🙁

I’m not sure how to attach a picture to this, but is my data stream wrong? It won’t let me change anything.

Also, could you look to see if my Analytics code is installed? I’m pretty sure I used a different plugin/theme to do that already, which is why I haven’t checked it.

    Hello,

You can upload your screenshot to this tool https://imgbb.com/ and share the URL here.

Please try reconnecting the Google account, to regenerate the auth token from Google, by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and configure the Search Console and Analytics settings again:

    gsc

Please ensure you have checked all the required permissions.

That should fetch the data again.

If the issue persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
