Analytics not being tracked

    Hello! I just installed Ranthmath into my wordpress site a few hours ago and I’m not seeing any analytics from my site on the analytics dashboard from Rankmath. Was wondering if it maybe takes 24 hours to see it or if I did something wrong. I already have google analytics on my website and been tracking it for many months with no issues. I selected that same property. It’s also a GA4 property so not sure if that is causing an issue or in the way I set it up. But I am seeing no information on analytics not even any number of pages in the “No data” category – they are all in “0”. Would be great to get some pointers here. Thank you very much!

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Please note that when you connect your Google account first time with Rank Math, it can take a few hours to fetch the data from your Google Analytics.

    However, if you’re still not able to see any data on your Google Analytics dashboard then please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you:

    1. At first please head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and click the Rebuild Index button.

    2. After that, Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics tab, click the Delete Data button, and then click the Update Data Manually

    It will start the new data fetch from Google. You can reload the page to see the notice related to the import process.

    Once the process is complete. Please check the Analytics page again.

    Hello,

    It’s been almost 24 hours and still nothing. I followed the steps but when getting to the last part of deleting data and updating it automatically I didn’t see any buttons available for “update data manually”. And instead I see a button that says “fetching in progress” that is not clickable.

    What could I do from here?

    Hello,

    When you see the Fetching in progress message that means Rank Math is trying to fetch the data from your Google Analytics. Can you please confirm if the data still not showing on your Analytics Dashboard?

    If so, then please try to follow the steps below to create a troubleshooting log so that we can check the issue further for you.

    1. At first add the following filter to your website:

    add_filter( 'rank_math/analytics/log_response', '__return_true' );

    2. After adding the filter, please run the pending Scheduled Action from your WordPress Dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending  or you can try visiting the following URL:

    https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=action-scheduler&status=pending

    This is how it should look like:

    When some actions have completed running, please check the Analytics log under wp-content/uploads/rank-math and share that with us. You can upload the log file using this tool.
