Analytics is unable to connect to Google Analytics.

  • Hello,

1)Authentication under General Setting – Webmaster Tool – Google Search Console was successful.
    2) General Settings – Analytics – Search Console connection is successful – there is a green light for connection to my wwww.webwhim.co.uk website
    3) There is no way to connect General Settings – Analytics- Analytics. I have already integrated the code from the Google Analytics in the header.php file of my theme (Hello theme is used with Elementor Pro). Under Analytics Tab I can select my account with Google Analytics (WebWhim) but is unable to select the Property (which is set in the Google Analytics) and the associated View (Web data stream ?). The light icon is grey and I am unable to save any changes – I am receiving a message “There are unsved changes”.

What should I do to connect Analytics?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

  • Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Please ensure you have not used the default GA4 as this is not working with Rank math currently. GA4 is relatively a new product and is in Beta, & there could be data discrepancies if we were to integrate them into Rank Math. And the fact that their APIs are not yet fully ready for 3rd party integration, there is not much we can do.

However, we will begin working on the integration as soon as they improve their V4 API.

In the meantime, you can enable GA v3 by following this:
    create a property
    and then choose
    ga 3

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

I’m also having this issue as my new website is using the new GA4. GA will not allow to create a new property on GA3. So as soon as RM can get this integration up and running, it would be most appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch.

We will begin working on the integration as soon as they improve their V4 API to be fully ready for 3rd party integration, at the moment there is nothing much we can do.

You can keep an eye on our changelog: https://rankmath.com/changelog/ for we will mention when this is added,

    Thank you.
