“An error occured.”

  • Hello,
When trying to run the first SEO Analysis, I get this message: “An error occured.”
I have tried “Flush SEO Analysis Data”, but this didn’t fix the issue.
    Thank you.

  • Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

It could be your web server is blocking access to our API.

Please make sure to whitelist the IP and the user-agent RankMathChecker/2.0.0; https://rankmath.com.

If you are not sure, please ask your web hosting provider to do it for you.

Once done, you can run the SEO Analysis once again.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    The web host says:

Access from that IP address and User-Agent string should currently be allowed. The only filtering rules we see are in the “public_html/.htaccess” file and they do not cover that IP address and User-Agent.

Could you please share your domain name so we can check?

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Thank you for the update.

I have alerted the dev team to check and get back to you.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.
