AMP Validation Error

  • Hello, first of all, great plugin. However, I recently switched from Yoast SEO to Rank Math and now there are AMP validation errors on the site. I check the details and it says that the AMP errors are due to Rank Math and one of your recommended Table of Contents plugin. I’m not asking for support for the TOC Plugin but if you guys could take a look and please help remove the errors caused by Rank Math, I’d be glad. I don’t understand why there are errors as when using Yoast, there were no errors. Thanks again.

    Things to note:

    I am using the AMP plugin by AMP Project Contributors.
    Yes, I am aware that the errors were “cleaned/accepted” but I’d rather not have any errors as before.
    Login info provided in the sensitive data area.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The errors that listed are wp-admin JS errors that may be happening because of some conflicts with some of your installed plugins. These errors should not affect the frontend AMP page layouts but I can suggest that you try to identify the plugin that is triggering a conflict by performing the steps described on this page:

    The error log clearly points out that Rank Math is causing the error. It only happens when I install Rank Math. Thanks anyway. I’ll keep an eye out for when the plugin is fully compatible with AMP. All the best.

    I am afraid that I am unable to reproduce these errors on my end, it is likely that there is a conflict on your environment that is bringing this about.

    We would be happy to chase this down further if you could share some access to your staging/dev server where we can investigate deeper without affecting the traffic on your site.
