Amp missing or invalid structured data item warnings

    Hi guys

    I just installed amp for wp a few days ago (5days), but in the last 2-3days, i’ve noticed a big traffic drop, and exactly when google indexed 142 amp post from total of 164.

    Is this normal?

    Also, i’ve got a warning regarding a missing or invalid structured data on the homepage, In Google webmaster tool, can you please help me to fix that?

    Hi Reda,

    Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    Having errors is not normal.

    If most of your traffic is from mobile devices, the traffic drop is normal.

    Have you added your Analytics code to the AMPs? We found that most people skip that and then get alarmed when they don’t see AMP traffic in the analytics 🙂

    Just making sure that isn’t happening here.

    And, please let us know what error you are seeing so we can help.

    Have you enabled the AMP module of Rank Math as well at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard?

    Hi Todd

    The Analytics code is already added,

    And the errors says: The tag ‘img’ may only appear as a descendant of tag ‘noscript’. Did you mean ‘amp-img’? Debug. column – 33087

    Any thoughts?

    Hey Reda,

    We would love to help with that but that is not a Rank Math issue. More like an AMP issue that your AMP plugin provider might be in a better position to assist.

    Have you contacted them? The only thing we take care on your AMPs is the Canonical tag and the structured data. Anything else is not handled by Rank Math.
