    Hello, configured software to add alt text to images missing it, and it simply is not. Is there something I am missing?

    The missing alt tag is dynamically applied to images that appear on the main post content such as the featured image on the second link. This feature will not work for background images since at most times these are set to noindex.
    Inspecting the page source on the second link shows that the alt tag is applied to the image as shown below:
