Hello! Thank you for making such an amazing plugin. I’m working on my SEO and have noticed it’s failing on 4 images that according to RankMath, have no alt text. They do, I’ve checked them, rewritten them and followed the “navigate to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Images, and toggle the Add missing ALT attributes” advice from the chatbot but it’s still not detecting it. All of my images have alt text, it’s only my header and footer logos it’s flagging as an issue for some reason. I’ve copied and pasted it below in the hope that it helps. Thanks so much in advance for your kind advice! Aimee

  • Hello,

We apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing with the alt text detection in Rank Math. We appreciate you reaching out to us about this issue.

It seems that the alt text detection is not working as expected for your header and footer logos. We understand the importance of having accurate alt text for all images, including logos, for SEO and accessibility purposes.

To resolve this issue, we recommend checking the settings for the “Add missing ALT attributes” feature in Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Images. Ensure that the setting is correctly enabled and configured to add alt text to all images, including logos.

If the issue persists, please provide us with more details about your setup and any other relevant information so that we can assist you further.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to helping you resolve this issue.

    Hello,

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

Please note that the Add missing ALT attributes and Add missing TITLE attributes options in Rank Math are not added to your images in the media gallery as the feature works only on the fly (applied on the front end when your page loads on the browser).

Also, images added by your WordPress theme or page builder to various sections like your sliders, thumbnails, icons, etc. will not be affected as they only apply to images added directly to your content.

In this case, if you have already added the ALT attributes in your media gallery, then you may need to get in touch with your theme provider as upon checking on the front end, their ALT attributes are not generated.

    Hope that helps.

    Okay thanks will ask them
