All pages and posts aren’t showing up on Google

I really want to like the Rankmath Plugin but since installation, it hasn’t improved my google presence at all (yet).

Even after installing the “instant indexing” feature and following all the steps to send instant updates, not all the posts and pages are showing on google. In fact, the majority of content I’m producing isn’t visible on google, only a few posts are up.

Why are my competitor’s sites visible in search even though they have little to no content compared with mine which features at least 30 posts of video/ written content?

How can I get all my posts and pages to be visible on Google? Also, there are some dead pages showing up that I don’t want visible anymore, how can these be removed?

    Thank you

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

Installing the Rank Math plugin does not guarantee instant results on the SERP. The fact that your competitors are ranking better may suggest that they have better domain authority of your articles might not be ranking for the same keywords.
Would you mind checking if there are any errors reported on your search console dashboard?
You can redirect the direct pages to new pages on your site or you could request Google to remove the content as described on this page: https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/6349986?hl=en

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    HI
    Rank Math free

    Thanks Michael,

On google search console, it says there are 0 errors, 36 “Valid” with the Type saying: “Indexed, not submitted in sitemap” (these are all showing in SERP), 87 “Excluded” with the following details:

Why are these pages not getting indexed?

Also, you mentioned domain authority from competitors, how do I get better “domain authority”?

Can you explain how they have domain authority with a very basic website and without any articles or posts?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

Would you mind adding my email address(m********@m**************) as a property owner on the search console so that I can gather more info about the cause of each of these errors?

We might also need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

In regards to the domain authority question, here are a few recommendations that you can do to improve your DA:

    1. Increase dwell time of your website.
    2. Be smart about external linking.
    3. Use link building tactics.
    4. Remove toxic backlinks.
    5. Check and recover from Google penalties.
    6. Maintain a user friendly website.

From the errors on your console, DA might not be the major variable affecting indexing. You will need to fix each of these errors to get indexing on all the posts.

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

Thanks for getting back to us.

I am afraid that screen sharing sessions go beyond our support scope.
Kindly share two links under each of the errors on the search console and also share some access to your site(if possible) so that we can help further.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

I have checked through some of the affected pages on your site
    – Crawl anomaly – Most of the pages under this error have been marked as noindex. You will need to go through the whole list and change the robots meta to index via the Rank Math metabox.
    – Crawled not indexed – These posts exist on the sitemap, this problem should resolve itself after a few days.
    – Excluded by noindex – The posts under this error are also marked as noindex and you will need to manually change the robots meta to index.
    – Not found(404) – These pages do not exist, please redirect them to other pages on your site using the Rank Math redirections module.
    – Your site links also seem to exist in both www. and non www versions. Please get in touch with your host so that you can get some help on how to redirect the non www versions of the pages to the www version.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
