Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Could you post in the Sensitive Data section your sitemap URL so we can check it?
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch.
Could you please check the following:
1. Is the sitemap working fine in your browser? You can check that by going domain(.)com/sitemap_index.xml
If the sitemap is working fine, you can try validating it on this link: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html
If the validation works, please move to the second point.
2. Have you verified the correct version of your website on Google? Please check if you have verified the www (or non-www) and https (or http) version of your website. If there is a mismatch, please fix that.
3. Finally, make sure you have cleared the cache and excluded Google bot from seeing a cached version of your sitemap.
If you have followed these and you are able to view your sitemap without any problem, then Rank Math is outputting your sitemap correctly and the error must be coming from Google. You can try and use a 3rd party sitemap plugin to confirm. Just make sure you have disabled the Sitemap module of Rank Math in WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard
when using a 3rd party sitemap plugin.
If the other plugin works, please do let us know.
Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hi Alberto,
i just upload all my rank math sitemaps from my new brunogarcez.pt site in sensitive data.
unfortunately when I created the new site I changed the old site with the same options and the old site started having the same problems.
in my old site brunogarcez.com, my pages disappeared from google search only some posts are visible.
Never had this issues with the others site.
Something is missing me.
i delete all sitemaps and upload with new sitemaps created with https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ everything is fine now but the problem from search google persist.
I think is something in rankmath that is creating this issues.
I would like to use rankmath for all because i love it.
Thank you!
Hi,
1. Please delete the sitemaps from the Google Search Console.
2. Clear your website cache and add sitemap_index.xml and *-sitemap.xml (this might be different for W3 Total Cache plugin) to the exclusion list in your Cache plugin.
3. Add sitemap_index.xml file again to your Google Search Console.
That should do the trick.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
