  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Could you please check if your post types have been set to noindex on the Titles & Meta settings? If not, please do the following:

    1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks

    Hit the save button once.

    2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings

    Hit the save button once.

    That should fix the issue.

If it doesn’t, please do let us know so we can look at this further.

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for the sharing the steps, it actually solved the issue. Now all of my sitemaps are visible and working.

Do you mind telling me why exactly this happened? Neither i updated anything nor i removed anything, so what triggers this issue?

I was lucky that i just regularly hit my Sitemap URL to see if all is ok, but what if i didn’t? This issue will remain active and i will only get to know when after weeks i will get a notification from GSC!

    Hello,

Thank you for the follow up.

This is a common issue with wordpress. It however can’t be brought to on specific cause, but it having the permalinks not updated can be a cause. It is actually more a wordpress issue rather than Rank math.

Hope this helps you. Thank you.
