    Hello Support
I am trying to import All In One Settings now I have installed Rank Math. However, prior to that I did install the Yoast plugin. I’m concerned I have confused things (or perhaps it’s just me that is confused). I am not seeing the existing meta data etc having followed the instructions of your wizard. can you help me please?

    Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.

When AIOSEO updated their plugin to version 4.x.x they completely rewrote the code and the import function stopped working for multiple SEO plugins.

This is something our team is aware and we are working hard on making the necessary changes to support the import from this version as well, but at the moment we don’t have the function ready.

If you can downgrade to version 3.x.x of AIO, you should be able to import the data correctly to Rank Math.

Hope this helps solve your issue.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you require any further assistance.

Thank you so much for replying so quickly. I don’t suppose you know how I would downgrade to a lower version of AIO do you please?
    Kindest regards
    Amanda

    Hi Support
I managed to install as you suggested an earlier version of AIO SEO but having imported I still cannot see my meta data etc.
    Can you help me please?
    Kindest regards

    Hello,

Even if you were to downgrade to AIO 3.0, you would lose all information added while being on any newer version. So, it would defeat the purpose of using import if you have to enter the details once again. We would recommend using the WPAllImport plugin to move most of your data for now:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/import-xml-csv-settings-to-rank-math-seo/

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Can I just double check. I managed to export my settings via the AIO SEO Plugin. Do I just go into your Import / Export page and just upload the file? Is it as simple as that?
    Many thanks

So sorry having spent 4 hours I’m really struggling to get this rank math to import my data. I have over 30 websites so was hoping to use this as all are built using Divi and I have heard good things about your plugin. Any chance someone could logon and see where I’m going wrong please?

    Hello,

    Thank you for the follow-up.

The Rank Math Add-On will appear in Step 3 of the WP All Import process. Here’s a guide you can follow:

Any chance someone could logon and see where I’m going wrong please?

Sure, we can also take a look at your site. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

I have checked your site and the best approach to this is doing an export via CSV. You then need to map your data according to how you have done the export.

If you do an export for posts as indicated here: https://i.rankmath.com/6amxPk you should then import them to existing posts on your site as well as shown here: https://i.rankmath.com/gYMk5c.

Under the second step, you can check if posts are selected in the review section as shown here:https://i.rankmath.com/DbHCMn

For step 3 this is where you need to map this with Rank Math fields. Simply drag your import data from right to left. See screenshot: https://i.rankmath.com/WbdqQ1.
You can fill in as many of the fields as you like depending on your needs.

Lastly, it’s where you want to make any modifications. If you want to add anything like images or change some data. Screenshot: https://i.rankmath.com/XMPxBm

Once completed for all steps you can finally run the import as expected

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions for us.
