    Hi guys,

    I have a tough issue with rank math migration from yoast.
    All my blog posts keep saying no index error in google search console, for three months.
    All rank math post settings are ticked INDEX.
    The sitemap is also showing the article.

    It seems that is overwriting the “index’ value.
    Any idea how to fix?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    You need to go to Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts > Robots Meta > Make it ON > Then under “Post Robots Meta”, you need to select “Index” and save the changes.

    That’ll fix the issue.

    We did selected “Index” under post robots meta and saved the changes.
    And I uploaded this in the “sensitive data” section.

    Hello,

    By following this troubleshooting guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/ I was able to root the issue to be with your child theme. You have likely added some customization which seem to be adding the noindex and nofollow to your posts. You can confirm this by switching to your parent theme or Twenty Twenty theme

    I couldn’t find a way to access the theme editor so I couldn’t figure out the exact code or customization causing this but I believe you can check this from your end

    When we do the migration, the freelancer set all our posts noindex in the child theme.
