After the update, it stopped performing its functions: Instant Indexing for Goog

  • Hello.
I noticed that google has stopped coming to pages that I submit through the plugin
    Instant Indexing for Google.

Everything was set up and working until about April 15-16 and after that, the google bot stopped coming to the pages after submitting them. No errors, everything submits successfully. In google api statistics you can see requests, but google bot persistently does not come to the pages. I have more than 100 sites, checked on each + created a new one and also sent new urls through the plugin: Instant Indexing for Google.

Everything is connected according to the instructions, there can be no error. I noticed that the plugin has recently updated – maybe the reason is because of this? Can you run a test on your side?

  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the Instant Indexing for Google feature after the recent update. It seems like Google has stopped coming to the pages you submit through the plugin, even though everything submits successfully without errors.

Since you have already checked on multiple sites and created a new one to test, and everything is set up according to the instructions, it’s possible that the recent plugin update might have caused this issue.

I’m sorry to bother you. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

Please note that if the issue was with the plugin, then you will see an error when submitting the URLs to Google. Our plugin only submits the URLs. It doesn’t have any control over Google and can’t force them to crawl the submitted URLs. If Google has stopped crawling the URLs, then they might not be finding your sites eligible for instant indexing.

Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

And you can test it on your side. Maybe you have sites that are subject to instant indexing. I used to have everything indexed quickly, then at one point everything stopped.

    Hello,

We understand your concern, and we’ve already conducted tests on our side. Fortunately, we haven’t found any issues with the plugin’s functionality related to instant indexing for Google.

Our plugin simply submits the URLs to Google for indexing; it doesn’t control Google’s crawling behavior. If Google has stopped crawling the URLs, there might be other factors affecting their decision.

For initial troubleshooting, we suggest you check your Google Search Console, coverage section to determine any issues reported on your site:

If there are any issues, then please share those with us here, and we’ll be assisting you with our best effort. You can also use a tool like Imgur to share screenshots of those errors with us.

Since there have been a few algorithm updates that came from Google, you can also monitor Google Algorithm updates and ranking drops. Check if you’ve been hit by an Algorithm update of Google: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-algorithm-updates/

If it seems like you may have been affected by an algorithm update, please refer to the following guidelines on how to confirm that and fix it: https://rankmath.com/blog/google-algorithm-update-recovery/.
