Advice about installing Google AMP

    Hello Rank Math Team,

    Please i want to install Google Amp on my website but i want to have some advice from yours please :
    when i checked the rank math amp menu i have read a sentence ” If not handled properly, AMPs can backfire and create duplicate content issues which lead to de-ranked or worse, de-indexing of your posts. ” What is the best free amp plugin you recommend because i found this one not bad : https://wordpress.org/plugins/amp/?utm_campaign=RankMath but i want to know if you have any tutorial to follow to not have any problems after the install because not the most reviews are positive ?

    And i want to know if i really need to install Amp plugin even that i have a Responsive Design Website.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    About generating duplicated content and so on, it should never happen if you use some reputed AMP plugin (like the one you said).

    For the plugin you said, you could follow this guide: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-properly-setup-google-amp-on-your-wordpress-site/

    After that, you just need to enable the AMP compatibility in Rank Math and done, your site is AMP ready (I show you in this screencast how to enable the AMP compatibility: https://i.rankmath.com/Xc6vkZ

    Here you have some discussions about if it is worth it: https://www.reddit.com/r/SEO/comments/88xms0/is_implementing_amp_worth_it/ I would say it gives you a nice speed boost in mobile results but you should think if that is what you are looking for.

    Hello Alberto,

    Thanks for your help i have read the wpbeginner guide it was helpful and i have changed my mind i will not install it at the moment because users have more bugs and errors to clear on their websites.
