Advanced Custom Fields not being included as content

Hi, the theme for this site uses ACF Pro to add additional content like the information on the tabs you can see on the page specified.

I have enabled the acf module.

Some of the advanced custom fields are repeaters.

I have added the custom fields to be included in the page analysis int the following format (I was not sure what part of the field you use, Label or name so I added both:

    Testimonials
    testimonials
    Specialist Area Synopses
    specialist_area_synopses
    Case Group
    case_group
    Professional Memberships
    professional_memberships

As far as I can tell these are not being used in the analysis as when I am editing the page the rank is 77/100 but when I use your analyser web page the rank is 91/100 – can you advise how I see the same result in the dashboard as I do on your analyser page?

    Thanks

    Hi Deb,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

The SEO Analysis is different than the content Analysis.

This is the SEO Analysis tool: https://rankmath.com/tools/seo-analyzer/

The same is available as a hosted tool at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > SEO Analysis as well.

The other one is content analysis:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/score-100-in-tests/

It is okay for them to have different scores as the tests are different on both these tools.

Don’t worry about the score mismatch as both of these are for different things.

thanks, but I am pretty sure that the custom fields are not being included.

To test this out I added case_group to the Custom Fields in Titles and Meta, then used %case_group% in the title and all it added was the number 3 – 3 is the number of the repeater field…not the text in the content of the repeater fields…

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins & the affected URL in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

Thanks- I have added you to the Dashboard as Administrator now…details in the SD section. Thanks

    Hello,

I have checked it but it seems it is reading the custom fields. I was able to replicate your test where you were getting the number 3. You were getting that number because it gives you the number of cases in that case group. For example, I created a new case group with just 1 case and I just got 1.

So it could be just what my colleague said; could you check it?

    Looking forward to help you.

Yes – I guessed it was that – but I want the content from the cases not the number of cases???

    How do I sort that?

    Thanks

    Hi,

The custom fields are being read and considered in the tests just fine.

Please check the screencast I shared in the sensitive data section.

The thing you are talking about – including custom fields in the SEO meta – it is different and you will need to find out the exact custom field you should be used in the SEO. You can talk to your ACF theme or plugin provider about that.

    Usually, something like this works:
    %customfield(field_name)%

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hello,
