    To be able to post rich pins in Pinterest, the open graph of my website would have to be supplemented with “Date Published” and “Authors”. How can I do that?

  • Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The validation seems to work for your homepage. Check the test URL and screenshot I have added in the sensitive section. This is also true for a number of other pages on your site. To validate and apply for Rich Pins:

    Enter your homepage(or another working page) URL here: https://developers.pinterest.com/tools/url-debugger/ and click Validate.

    If no issues are shown, click Apply now. Your Rich Pins will show up within the hour.

    Note: You only need to validate and click apply for one link on your site to enable Rich Pins across your whole domain. You’ll also need to verify your Rich Pins before they’ll appear on Pinterest.

    Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Yes, the validation works. But “Date published and “Authors” is empty. Therefore my question: How can I add “Date published” and “Authors” to the Open Graph? I can do it manually for each article by adding some lines
    <meta property=”article:published_time” content=”DATE” />
    <meta property=”article:author” content=”abc” />
    into the head section.

    Can RankMath do this for me so that I don’t have to enter manually for each item?

    Hello,

    These are added automatically by Rank math, and they are on your page, you can check screenshot 2 in the sensitive section.

    Looking forward to helping you.
