Add an image with your Focus Keyword as alt text.

    Hi,
    I created a page and has assign a main focused keyword.
    I’m using Elementor as page builder and use the “Slides” feature to show the carousel images.
    On the images I put, I have assigned the focused keyword as ALT Text on 1 of the image there.
    But the RankMath indicator is still showing that I haven’t put this ALT Text on 1 of the image on the page.

    What is wrong?

    Rank Math is fully compatible with Elementor, so could you please confirm if you are maybe using any shortcodes to add the images? We cannot read the content within shortcodes currently.

    If not, can you please check the page source and see if the image alt is correctly added to the image in question?

    Hi, I use the feature “Slides” on Elementor, not using a shortcode.
    This is the screenshot of my current edit mode:

    I have manually put the ALT Text when inserting the image on the slides option.

    Hello,

    Since that Slide image is likely added as a BG image, we cannot read that since BG images do not have an alt tag.

    Please add a regular image or simply ignore that failed test if you believe the test is not working correctly in an edge case.

    The score is there only for your reference anyway and doesn’t affect your actual rankings. Treat it only as a to-do list, nothing more. Don’t try to live by it and don’t follow the tests religiously.
