    Urgent – our biggest event of the year with hundreds of is viewers tomorrow. Resolution by 1 pm today would be ideal.

    In a performance audit, our host found Rankmath is running something every minute that may be sacrificing performance: “many cron requests very close together at some points. The action_scheduler_run_queue cron job is running every minute.”
    How can we turn that off without sacrificing RankMath performance? The most important feature we need to maintain is redirects.

    What is that and how can we turn it off without sacrificing RankMath performance? Fyi, the main reason we installed RankMath was for SEO, but the most important feature we need to have working is the redirects.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    That cron job you are seeing is the default WP Cron that runs every minute on all WordPress installations. Our plugin hooks into that to fetch the Analytics data from your Google account, but we don’t run our tasks every minute.

    The redirections or any other plugin functionality apart from the one I mentioned won’t be affected by disabling this cron job.
