    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us.

I searched your website on Google and I was able to replicate the issue.

You can have a look at this screenshot for a quick reference:
    https://i.rankmath.com/T1lfC8

I checked Google’s cached version of your website and your website was lastly crawled on 12th May. https://i.rankmath.com/GOd82N

When Google crawled your website, the title tag of your homepage was the same as the title in the SERPs. Please have a look at this screenshot for a quick reference:
    https://i.rankmath.com/J6GgQI

I also checked the current text in the title tag of your homepage and now it seems to be missing the site name. Here’s a screenshot: https://i.rankmath.com/6NfGGk

Please set the desired title of your website correctly and then give Google some time to re-crawl your website and see if the changes are reflected.

Do note that if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

Thank you for your responses, but you didn’t get my question clearly, is there a way I can attached a file to show you what I mean.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

You can upload the file to your Google Drive account and share its link with us after giving it the access as “Anyone on the internet with this link can view”.

Please add the link in the sensitive data section of this ticket.

If it is an image file that you want to share, then you may use a tool like imgur.com to easily upload and share the image link.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Thank you.

The below image is how it used to appear before https://drive.google.com/file/d/1R85PR7Ec7bJr876SvOz3BFn_mwMIKvu0/view?usp=drivesdk
Now this is how it appears now

I just want it to appear as it used to be like the first one. Page title, Seperator and sitename on top

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

I tried to open the files that you’ve shared but it seems like you have not provided enough privileges. Please have a look at this screenshot for a quick reference: https://i.rankmath.com/3T8WaG

As mentioned in my previous reply, please edit the privileges as “Anyone on the internet with this link can view”, so that we can access the files and help you accordingly.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

This is how it used to appear before
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1R85PR7Ec7bJr876SvOz3BFn_mwMIKvu0/view?usp=drivesdk

But now it is appearing this way with no sitename just the page title and Seperator

    Hello,

I checked the source code of this page:
    https://jobview.co.ke/it-security-specialist/

You have set the title as IT Security Specialist in KCB Bank - which is why it is showing without the site name in the search results.

    sitename

Please add the sitename to this page, then clear the cache and check the source code of the page. If everything is correct, wait for Google to crawl this page and show the correct title in the search results.

Do note that if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

Here is an example showing Google changes title depending on the keyword used:
    description
    &
    description 2

The best you can do is optimize your meta tags to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the follow-up.

I’ve checked some of your posts, and it seems that the site name is already appearing in the page’s source code.

However, for your categories, they are not showing. The screenshots you have provided seem from Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Categories. If so, that option will only affect your new categories before you have set them.

Could you please check your categories individually if the %sitename% variable is in the title?

If they are already showing there and the issue still persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thank you for that information.

Upon further checking, it seems that you haven’t filled your sitename (Site Title) on your WordPress dashboard > General. I’ve checked your previous screenshot and it seems that it was set to Jobview.

However, I’ve already updated it for you, and now your post and categories have the sitename in their page’s source code.

For the changes to show up on the Google search results page, you’ll just need to give Google some time to recrawl your site, and they will be updated.

    I hope that helps.

Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.

Thanks bro, You did an incredible job, fixing my problem, God bless man!!
