About the setup wizard

    Hi there,

    I just installed RankMath and I would like to confirm something with you before I start the setup wizard.

    I am transferring my website from Shopify to WooCommerce WordPress and while I haven’t finished setting up plugins and configuring the UI I haven’t pointed my DNS to my new site yet.

    Given I haven’t set up DNS yet, should I authorize Rank Math to fetch data from Search Console or should I finish the migration first, given things like sitemap and robots file might change?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    My recommendation would be to wait until your DNS is ready since a lot of settings depending on your URLs and if the DNS is not ready yet, it could cause issues in the future the setup being done now.
