Hello there, I am using rank math for creating the sitemap. This is a great SEO plugin.
However, recently I notice this error.
Sometimes, in sitemap_index.xml, all images in the posts are not counted [See Link 2].
Now, for some of the posts images are counted, and in some posts, they’re not.

The entire site is built with elementor, yet the home page listed 22 images and the services page 0.

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
You are using a page builder, which explains why some images might not be included in the sitemap because not all page builders make their content available for Rank Math to read.
I believe that this plugin uses custom fields to save image data to the database. I would suggest that you identify the meta key and then add this to Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > Post type > Image custom fields as shown below:
