A tag on this page requires an AMP component ‘script’ tag, which is missing.

  • I Just Started Using Rank Math and its very helpful for me however everything is going well but I am facing some issues I will be glad if you help me to resolve.

    1. When using the plugin the first error always creates that “Referenced AMP URL is self-canonical AMP” to resolve this I manually create a canonical URL for that is there any way in Rank Math in Which Canonical URL created automatically.

    2. Start giving error “A tag on this page requires an AMP component ‘script’ tag, which is missing.” However, it’s giving on only two pages but they are increasing…

    Someone TOld me to Add
<script async custom-element=”amp-ad” src=”https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-ad-0.1.js”></script&gt; But dont know its will resolve the issue or if that code is corrent then where i have to put code in rank math..

I am Using Better AMP i tried AMPforWp but that was useless as they changed and all my URL images disappeared so please help to resolve the issue with your plugin

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I was trying to replicate your issue in a local installation but I was not able to found the plugin called “Better AMP”. The only one I found was this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-amp/ which was removed from the WordPress website due to guidelines violations, is it the one you are using?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Yes ia m using this plugin, I tried to use ampforwp But that plugin removes all my images from posts thats why i used this plugin

I think we might need to take a closer look to determine the cause of the issue. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

We really look forward to helping you.
