    Are you using any translation plugin (since you have multiple languages)? If yes, which one? Also, have you tried resaving the permalinks?

    WPML.

    The SITEMAPS are 404ing.

    So in /en/sitemap_index.xml there are multiple sitemaps linked, that are 404ing.

    Hello,

    There is going to be just one sitemap and it will contain your main as well as your translated pages.

    The only sitemap index Rank Math will create will be available at domain.com/sitemap_index.xml

    It will not create a separate sitemap for other languages like you are suggesting.
