    Hello,

I have a woocommerce shop with allot of noindexed products. Because there are so much products RM split the product sitemap in multiple sitemaps.

But after noindexing over 800 products it’s still showing 5 sitemaps only the first sitemap has products in it. The other 4 sitemaps return a 404.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

You can fix this by flushing your permalinks. I have fixed this on your site by heading over to Rank Math > Sitemap settings and I hit save and then hit went over to Settings > Permalinks and hit save.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

I forgot to noindex a couple more products. Saved sitemap, saved permalinks still the sitemap is showing in index

Its also happens frequently in my 3 sites. Sometimes sitemap is showing but suddenly after 1 or 2 minutes sitemap is disappeared and showing 404 pages.

I think its a minor bug. Fix it soon.

    HI @contact130,

    Thanks for the patience.

The issue seems to be stemming from your caching plugins, clearing your cache and flushing the permalinks restores the functionality.
Please note that the locations sitemap is reporting the 404 error because you have set a global noindex option under Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global meta.

    @wikiexam-in
could you please do the following:

    1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks

    Hit the save button once.

    2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings

    Hit the save button once.

    That should fix the issue.

If it doesn’t, please do let us know so we can look at this further.

    Thank you.
