Naturally, if the URL does not have any page on it, it would throw a 404 error, otherwise, that page would be displayed. In any case, please share some examples of the URLs you are referring to so we can help take a look.

cakesavvy.ca/desiner cake
etc.
People make all sorts of typos. My question is, no matter what the typo in the extension, if the main website address is correct but the extension is misspelled is there a way to direct them to the home page without trying to put every misspelling I can think of in the redirects?

I’m not sure if this is what you want but you can actually redirect all pages that are “not found” to your homepage. For example, if a user visits cakesavvy.ca/birtday-cakes or cakesavvy.ca/desiner-cake or any other pages that do not exist, they will be redirected to your homepage.
You can implement this by navigating to Rank Math > General Settings > Redirection and changing the Fallback Behavior to Redirect to Homepage.
