    Hello
    Good day.
    My website was infected by malicious theme .and the old host was suspended
    Later I clean everything and setup fresh copy of it in a new host and new theme all fresh …
    Now I have this problem which called url phishing , I setup security plugins and check but no problems.

    I activated 404 Monitor I see a lot of 404 errors comes from outside resources

    I appreciate your help to get rid of this issue , by redirect or what ? what is the best solution without harming the website or website SEO And if it is redirect it should be the homepage or which page ?

    You could redirect all those URLs to the homepage, it would be a safe and easy solution. Also, if those URLs have a pattern, you could try to redirect them using Regex, so you don’t need to create each redirection one by one.

    Hi Mohamed,

    You should not blindly redirect everything to the homepage. You should only redirect the relevant pages.

    For unrelated 404s, you should mark them as 410 or just ignore the 404s as they do not cause harm if real users are not seeing those 404.
