    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it could be a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Please let us know if you find the culprit.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    tried this.
    however just by enabling the rankmath plugin and theme set to default wp theme, the issue persisted. So the question of plugin conflict ruled out.

    If that doesn’t work, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Hi Sanchit,

    Thanks for the reply and sorry for the delay.

    It seems that you had enabled the “redirect to homepage” option as a fallback on the redirection settings via Rank Math > General Settings > Redirections which in effect is affecting the logging of redirections.

    I’ve gone ahead and disabled this option as shown below:
