  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve tried a random URL for your site to visit a 404 page, and it’s getting redirected to your homepage.

Could you please check if your 404s are set to redirect to your homepage? You can check it in Rank Math > General Settings > Redirections > Fallback Behavior

    Fallback

If so, Rank Math’s 404 Monitor does not log them as they are getting redirected. Those pages need to be in a 404 state for them to be shown in the 404 Monitor.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

Hi I have redirected them to the home page, at the same time I want to know what are the URLs that getting redirected, so I can create perm links for them, but thanks

    Hello,

Redirecting them to the homepage will bypass the actual 404 page hence, no 404 will be logged.

If you wish to have 404 logs recorded in the 404 monitors, I suggest you select “Default 404” as your fallback behavior. You can then head over to your 404 logs and create a redirection there.

    404

Hope this will help you with your issue.

Looking forward to helping you with this one.
