404 Monitor

  • Hello,

    I’m not sure if you can help me but i’ve read all the 404 Monitor help files and am still a bit lost!

    I have a lot of 404 errors listed but am unsure whether they need to be rectified or not!

    Are you able to see my dashboard or can I send you a screenshot of the errors to see if you can advise?

    I can suggest that you create a redirection for all 404s that begin with pnegx since this is the most common error on the log. You can redirect this to the homepage.
    The rest of the errors can simply be ignored.

    Can I do the redirection through Rank Math?

    Do you know where the pnegx errors are coming from?

    Thanks for getting back to us.

    Yes you can head over to Rank Math > Dashboard and enable the redirections module.
    To create the redirection, follow these steps:
    – Head over to Rank Math > Redirections
    – Click on add new
    – Enter pnegx on the source field
    – Select ‘Start with’ on the next field
    – Type the homepage URL on the destination field.

    I cannot be sure what is causing these errors but it is likely one of your installed or formerly installed plugins.
