    Hello there, I’m getting [403 Error] “Permission denied. Failed to verify the URL ownership.”

    – I did follow each step to the letter (two times).
    – I did try the two version of url (with www and without)

    How can this be fixed ?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    Did you add the service container account as an owner in the GSC property? Also, can you please check if you have multiple GSC properties for the same website and make sure you are using only one that matches the URL variation of the website?

    We have tried and tested the steps mentioned in the tutorial and if you are seeing this error we are sure this is a permission issue which can be fixed by checking both of the situations above.

    Can you please take a full screenshot of your Google Search Console so we can take a closer look at it?
